Benzene leak contained near Mumbai’s Mysore Colony Monorail station

Mumbai authorities contained a benzene leak from a chemical tanker near Mysore Colony Monorail station on the evening of September 1, 2026, after the city’s Disaster Management cell alerted emergency services at approximately 8.30pm. No casualties or secondary incidents were reported.
